Enhancements

• Print Job Table Column Resizing
  Column boundaries now show a resize cursor and are easier to grab with the mouse. Dragging reliably adjusts the column width, which is saved for the template.
• Field Names in the Visibility Dialog
  The Visibility dialog now displays the same field captions as the print screen. Technical field names are available as tooltips.
• Preview Zoom and Panning
  Both preview views now offer finer zoom steps, snapping to 100%, and drag-to-pan navigation. Zoom percentages are independent of display scaling. Click the percentage to fit the label to the window.
• Test Print from Printer Settings
  Print one copy of the last successfully printed template and its saved data directly from printer settings, using the current settings of the selected printer.
• Zebra Default Compression
  Changed the default compression for Zebra/ZPL graphics from RLE to ZIP.
• License Options
  Improved support for license verification intervals and offline grace periods.
• New and Updated Templates
  Added new and updated ready-to-use templates:
  • VW GTL VDA 4994 V2.0 (2023) — 6 new templates replacing the previous V1.3 group.
  • BOSCH GTL VDA 4994 Revision 2025 — Updated templates, including neutral labels. Revision 2022 templates are available again alongside the 2025 templates.
  • Ford GTL — 3 additional container labels added to the existing Revision 2017 group.
  • Magna B-16 — New GTL container label added to the AIAG slide.
  • AIAG B-16 GTL V3 — 3 new templates: standard GTL, Master for non-mixed loads, and Reduced Height.
  • VDA 4994 V2.0 — 8 new templates (A5, A6, KLT 1, KLT 2 in DE/EN) added to the VDA slide.
  • GS1 — New Non-standard heterogeneous fixed Data Matrix label added to the GS1 slide.

Bug Fixes

• Configuration and Application Data Path
  Corrected the configuration and application data path: files are now stored under %LOCALAPPDATA%\TEC-IT instead of the default %LOCALAPPDATA%\User Name folder. Existing application data and settings from version 1.0.1 are automatically migrated on first startup without overwriting files already present in the new location.
• Fit to Window
  Fit to Window now displays the entire label without unnecessary scrollbars in both preview views, including wide and tall formats. In full-screen preview, the label fits between the control bars so they do not cover its content.
• Preview Updates After Editing
  Field changes reliably refresh the print preview. Outdated preview results and validation errors no longer remain visible after the data has been corrected.
• Editable Input Fields
  Fixed an issue where input fields could remain disabled after importing data or printing, even though they were configured as editable in the field visibility settings.
• Thumbnail & Preview Cache Fixes
  Several caching issues were resolved to ensure thumbnails and previews always reflect the current template configuration:
  • Thumbnails are automatically regenerated when label size, orientation, or the template file (.tff) changes — no application restart required.
  • Opening the Templates menu silently checks for configuration changes and refreshes only the affected thumbnails in place, without resetting the view or scroll position.
  • The print preview cache now invalidates correctly when label size or orientation changes, so the preview always reflects the current template settings.

  Added support for TFZ files, a compressed format for TFORMer Designer templates, enabling more efficient template handling and distribution.
• Pin/Unpin Recent Templates
  Templates can now be pinned to remain permanently visible in the recent templates list for quicker access.
• Update Check
  An online update checker has been added to notify users about new versions at application startup.
• Improved 4K Support
  Fixed icon scaling issues on 4K displays to ensure a consistent and visually optimized user interface.
• Start Menu Integration
  The setup now adds Start Menu entries, including shortcuts to the release notes and the quick start manual.
• Tab Order Improvements
  Corrected the TAB navigation order on the start screen for improved usability and accessibility.
