For Developers
.NET, Java, COM, command line and web service — on Windows, Linux and UNIX.
TEC-IT barcode and label components fit into the software you already build. Generate a barcode, render an approved label or send output to a printer without asking users to leave your workflow.
Build proven barcode generation into your application.
The open-source library encodes the digits but not the FNC1. The check digit is right for GTIN-13 and wrong for GTIN-14. The symbol renders beautifully at 300 dpi and turns to mush on a 203 dpi thermal printer. Then a customer asks for GS1 DataMatrix, and for ZPL output, and for it to run on Linux. TEC-IT's engine has answered those questions for thirty years — and licenses so you can ship it inside your own product.

Return a barcode as vector or bitmap, or drive a full label layout to printer, PDF or native ZPL-II.
OEM and redistribution licensing lets you embed TEC-IT components in the product you sell.
SDKs and APIs for barcode generation and label output.
Call TEC-IT components from .NET, COM, C/C++, Java or the command line inside your own application.
Use TBarCode API when your application needs a barcode image over HTTP instead of a local component.
Use TFORMer SDK or API to bind business data to an approved layout and produce printer, PDF or ZPL output.
Every solution maps to proven, licensable products.

Automates printing and exporting of approved forms and labels from your application.
Generates labels and documents from layouts and data supplied by your software.
Embedded by design
Use an SDK, command line or HTTP API for barcode generation and label output on the platforms you already support.
Component, command line or web service.
Use a local component for in-process generation or an HTTP API when a web service better suits your stack.
Reuse the same symbology settings or approved label layout across development and production.
Choose deployment, server or OEM licensing based on how your customers use the software.

Call the HTTP endpoint with the data and symbology as parameters and receive an image, or reference the SDK if you prefer to generate in-process. Both produce identical symbols.
Yes. For regulated, air-gapped or data-residency-bound environments, TBarCode SDK and TBarCode/X run the engine on your infrastructure with no outbound calls.
Raster (PNG, BMP, JPG, TIF) and vector (SVG, EPS, PDF, PostScript). Vector output matters when the code will be scaled or printed at high resolution.
The free hosted service is intended for testing and low-volume use, and commercial use requires an agreement. Production systems normally run the engine locally or under a commercial API plan.
