Choose the layout
Pick three slips per A4 sheet, one at the foot of the page, or two on a horizontal sheet. Set Hintergrund to 0 to print only the data, for pre-printed forms.

Enter beneficiary, amount and reference
Type your name and IBAN; within the EU and EEA the BIC may stay empty. Enter the amount without thousands separators, then a reference or a purpose text, not both.

Print unscaled and test the code
Print the PDF at its original size and scan the code with a banking app. Raiffeisen Vorarlberg, for one, has offered to check print samples.
What is a SEPA payment slip?
A SEPA payment slip is the paper form a payer hands to the bank to order a euro credit transfer. In Austria it is the Zahlungsanweisung, used at Austrian banks since 1 July 2008 for domestic and SEPA transfers. TEC-IT's templates print it with its receipt (Auftragsbestätigung) and an EPC QR code that Austrian banking apps read.
Receipt, payment order, QR code and coding line
Each slip pairs a receipt (left) with the payment order (right). In SEPA V2 both show beneficiary (1), IBAN (2), BIC (3), amount (4), payment reference (5), purpose text (7) and payer IBAN (11). Only the order adds check digit (6), note lines (8, 9) and the payer's name (10).
The QR code sits right of the purpose-text and payer lines, framed with “Zahlen mit Code” in 7 pt Arial, as PSA Payment Services Austria asks. A message for the payer (12) goes to the receipt and the code only. The OCR-B coding line repeats the amount in cents and the slip type (14).
Who sends pre-filled slips, and why the reference counts
Billers send pre-filled slips: PSA names telecom and energy companies that already print the QR code on theirs. Payers scan it at branch terminals or in a banking app, which turns it into a transfer to approve.
Since 1 February 2016, banks no longer forward slip copies to the beneficiary, only electronic data. Reference and purpose text share one data field, so a filled-in reference keeps the purpose text from reaching you. Raiffeisen Vorarlberg advises a note pointing payers to the reference; the template's two note lines print one.
One slip per customer, from a data sheet or your ERP
Without an account, you fill in one slip free and download it as PDF, PNG or JPEG. For one slip per customer, sign in free and use a data sheet: each row becomes a slip, three to a page with SEPA V2.
The templates are TFORMer layouts. TFORMer Designer edits such layouts, for example to add invoice text above the single slip. TFORMer Workstation fills them from Excel or CSV, and TFORMer Server takes jobs from SAP or Oracle.

Check digit, note lines and payer inputs print on the slip only: PSA's definition leaves the payer's side out of the code.
Before you print or send slips
- Blind-colour forms for bank scanners. STUZZA's rules (2019) say banks cannot process payment forms not offset-printed in blind (dropout) colours.
- QR module size. PSA limits modules on slips to 0.4 mm ± 5%. TEC-IT's templates scale the code to about 22–23 mm, so modules measured 0.34–0.68 mm in our tests.
- Code size. The template does not check EPC069-12's 331-byte cap: with name, purpose text and message full, our test code held 351 bytes.
How the Zahlungsanweisung differs from the QR-bill
The QR-bill replaced the Swiss payment slips in October 2022: payment part and receipt on 210 × 105 mm, in francs or euros.
The fields of a SEPA payment slip
TEC-IT's templates print no field numbers: the numbers follow the editor's order and match the markers in the picture above. Original is the German caption printed on the payment order, or the editor's caption where the slip prints none. All three templates share these inputs; the other two caption the note lines Hinweistext.
