How can I regularly delete faulty job files?
If the JobError directory contains more than 65535 files, faulty files can no longer be moved out of the monitored Spool-In directory. This leads to stability problems, since faulty jobs get stuck and are read in repeatedly.
Set up a clean-up script in the Windows Task Scheduler that regularly clears the directory of old TMP files — here is an example that deletes all files older than 60 days:
rem CMD Script, taken from https://ss64.com/nt/forfiles.html
echo Deleting tmp files from JobError directory (*.tmp) older than 60 days
C:
cd C:\ProgramData\TEC-IT\TFORMer Server\8\JobError
forfiles /p "C:\ProgramData\TEC-IT\TFORMer Server\8\JobError" /m *.tmp /D -60 /C "cmd /c del @path"
